About Asterios
Asterios — one of the oldest active Lineage 2 servers in the CIS, founded in September 2005. Over two decades of operation, the project has developed a unique model: new seasonal servers are regularly launched, which, after six months to a year, smoothly merge into the base x5 server. This allows veterans to retain their progress for years, and new players to start on a fresh season on equal terms.
The server operates on High Five chronicles with deep mechanic customization: custom class and skill balance, a proprietary Java-based PTS-platform capable of handling immense loads, a Magic Gem system for instance entry, and a trade tax on personal shops. Sieges gather over 1000 players on each side, making large-scale clan wars the core of game life.
The donation policy is one of the project's key distinctions: the in-game shop does not feature top-tier equipment; donations are limited to premium accounts, decorations, and consumables. Gold Einhasad, the main shop currency, can be freely acquired from other players for adena. Characters are never deleted — progress is preserved throughout the project's entire lifespan.
