Lineage 2 Server Launches
Track upcoming and recently opened Lineage 2 servers in one place. Use filters to narrow by chronicle, rates, and type.
How to choose the right Lineage 2 server
Look beyond the opening date: chronicle, rates, server type, and early activity usually matter more than the launch label itself.
What are Lineage 2 server launches?
A Lineage 2 server launch is the moment a new private server opens its doors to players. Every character starts at level one, no one has hoarded equipment or adena, and clans are formed from scratch. This even playing field is the core appeal of new Lineage 2 servers: veteran players and complete newcomers compete in the same zones on the same day.
This page tracks upcoming launches and recently opened servers in two separate columns. Coming Soon lists servers with a future start date — you can review the chronicle, rates, and server type in advance, then log in on day one. Already Opened covers recently launched servers, when the community is still forming and joining late still feels like joining early. Both columns share the same filter controls, so you can compare upcoming launches and recently opened servers side by side.
Each listing shows three key parameters. The chronicle defines the game version and class roster — Interlude, High Five, Classic, Essence, and other editions each have distinct pacing, balance, and content. Rates are experience, drop, and adena multipliers: x1 matches the original game speed, x100 means a character can reach max level in a few hours. The server type — PvP, Craft-PvP, GvE — determines the dominant loop after leveling is done.

The appeal of a Lineage 2 fresh start runs deeper than nostalgia. The game is built around a clan-driven economy where power concentrates over months of play. On an established server, a new player walks into a rigid hierarchy: dominant clans own castles, the market is flooded, and every profitable spot is already contested. A fresh start dissolves that order. In the first week, everyone — seasoned veterans and brand-new players alike — farms the same zones, contests the same bosses, and negotiates the same alliances from a blank slate.
Choosing a chronicle comes down to your experience level and what you want from the game. Classic and Essence are well-suited for returning players and newcomers: modern interfaces, rebalanced mechanics, and a smoother learning curve. Interlude is the choice of the hardcore crowd — battle-tested balance, a large existing player base, and some of the most active fresh start communities. High Five offers the widest class variety and the deepest endgame but demands more time to master.
Rates shape the entire rhythm of a server. Low rates (x1—x5) preserve the long-term economy that makes Lineage 2 compelling: every item has real value, sieges matter more when gear is hard to replace, and progression stays meaningful for months. Mid rates (x10—x100) are the most common choice for new Lineage 2 server launches — fast enough to reach endgame in days rather than months, but slow enough that gear still feels earned. High rates (x1000+) strip out the leveling phase entirely and focus on PvP and siege gameplay.
Server type defines the dominant loop once you reach max level. PvP servers revolve around open-world conflict: castle sieges, clan wars, and contested farming zones. Craft-PvP servers add a resource economy where crafting is necessary for gear progression, giving players who prefer trading and manufacturing a meaningful role. GvE and cooperative formats shift the emphasis toward PvE content — raids, instances, world bosses — with lighter PvP rules.
The filter controls on this page apply to both columns at once. Set a chronicle, a rate range, and a server type, then see which upcoming Lineage 2 servers match those parameters — and whether any recently opened servers already meet the same criteria. If a server launched three days ago with exactly the settings you wanted, it may still be worth joining: the community is just getting started.
The Already Opened column deserves more attention than it typically gets. The first two weeks after a launch are when clans recruit, prices are set, and first sieges are fought. A player arriving on day four or five experiences the full energy of a fresh start — without the chaos of day one. Check the days-since-launch number on each card to judge how far into the early period a server is.
Before committing to a server from the Coming Soon list, check its full profile on L2 HOT for the official website, detailed rules, and start time. Most servers announce their launch on Discord, Telegram, or their own news pages a few days before going live — follow those channels so you can log in the moment doors open.
Server listings on this page are updated continuously. When a server passes its start date, it moves automatically from Coming Soon to Already Opened, where it stays through the active launch window before moving to the main L2 HOT catalog. Information about chronicle, rates, type, and start date is submitted by server owners. If you need a specific combination, use the filters or browse the catalog sections dedicated to each chronicle, rate tier, and server type.
