About the project

ArcaneWorld.net is a complex of Lineage 2 Essence servers operating as a single ecosystem since 2023. Currently, four servers are active: Main (x1, opened April 11, 2025), Wolf (x1, opened December 5, 2025), Samurai (x3, opened March 6, 2026), and Sakura (x3, opened May 22, 2026). All servers run on Samurai Crow chronicles and develop in parallel, creating a vibrant competitive environment.

A key feature of the project is a staged progression system: levels, limits, and content open in stages, which, according to the team, allows the game to remain relevant for about a year. Cross-server mechanics unite players from all four servers in common sieges, Olympiad, and epic bosses. Rates vary from x1 to x3 depending on the chosen server.

Technically, the project focuses on an optimized client: claiming an FPS increase in mass PvP up to +100%, client and loading speed up to +120%, stability under load up to +130%, and image quality up to +140%. The economy is positioned as “mature” and is based on free exchange of most in-game items. Starter Kits with runes, equipment, and consumables are provided for newcomers, and Offline Farm allows characters to continue leveling in the player's absence.

Project history

ArcaneWorld has been developing since 2023 as a Lineage 2 Essence server ecosystem. Over the years, several game worlds have been launched, while the current lineup of servers began taking shape in 2025. The Main server opened on April 11, 2025, followed by Wolf on December 5, 2025. In 2026, Samurai (x3) joined the ecosystem on March 6, and Sakura (x3) was launched on May 22 in partnership with XM. All active servers run on the Samurai Crow chronicles and are part of a unified gaming ecosystem.

Reputation & Trust

The project has been operating since 2023 and positions itself as long-term: four active servers operate in parallel, and the team regularly releases patches and holds events. The community is supported via Discord and Telegram.

Strengths

  • 4 active servers (x1 and x3) in a single ecosystem with cross-server sieges, Olympiad, and epic bosses
  • Staged progression maintains content and economy relevance for a long time
  • Optimized client: claimed FPS increase in mass PvP up to +100%, stability under load up to +130%
  • Starter Kits with runes and equipment ease the start for newcomers; Offline Farm is available to all
  • Regular unique events: Bunker, Party Quiz, Mysterious Trader; active media community with podcasts and contests

Trade-offs

  • Samurai Crow chronicles – a non-standard name that might be unfamiliar to players focused on classic L2 chronicles
  • The Sakura server opened on May 22, 2026, in cooperation with XM – a new server with a still-forming economy and community
  • Premium account provides bonuses to EXP/SP and adena, creating a gap between paying and free players
